Agreement to these terms
These terms apply to your use of the FSaver website at fsaver.org and its download service ("FSaver", "we", "us"). By using FSaver you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use FSaver.
The service
FSaver is a free, browser-based tool that finds the downloadable versions of a publicly available Facebook video and lets you save one as an MP4 file. FSaver doesn't host, store or publish videos. Each file is fetched from Facebook's servers when you request it and streamed directly to your device.
FSaver depends on how Facebook delivers videos, which can change without notice. We may change, limit or stop any part of the service at any time, and we can't guarantee that every link will work or that a particular quality will be available.
Who can use FSaver
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use FSaver. If you're under the age of legal majority where you live, you may only use FSaver with the permission of a parent or guardian.
Acceptable use
You're responsible for how you use FSaver and the files you download. You agree that you will:
- only download videos you own, have the owner's permission to save, or are otherwise legally allowed to save;
- respect copyright, privacy and other rights of creators and the people who appear in videos;
- follow Facebook's Terms of Service and any other rules that apply to the content.
You agree that you won't:
- re-upload, sell, distribute or publicly share downloaded videos without the rights to do so;
- use FSaver to harass, stalk or harm anyone, or to collect information about people;
- use bots, scripts or other automated means to send requests in bulk, scrape the service, or place an unreasonable load on it;
- try to bypass rate limits or security measures, or use FSaver as a proxy for anything other than its purpose;
- use FSaver for anything illegal.
Content and ownership
Videos belong to their creators and rights holders. Using FSaver doesn't give you any rights to a video beyond those the law or the owner already gives you.
The FSaver name, logo, website design and code belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them without permission, except as allowed by law.
Copyright requests
FSaver doesn't store videos, so there's nothing on our servers to take down. If you're a rights holder and you believe FSaver is being used to access your content in a way that infringes your rights, emailcontact@fsaver.org with:
- a description of the copyrighted work;
- the Facebook URL or URLs of the content;
- your name and contact details;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized, and that your notice is accurate.
We review every request and may block specific links from being processed. For the content itself, you can also report it to Facebook directly.
Facebook and third parties
FSaver is an independent service. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. Facebook is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. We're not responsible for content hosted on Facebook or for the availability of Facebook's services.
Disclaimer
FSaver is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that FSaver will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that files will meet your needs.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, FSaver and the people behind it won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or the files you download. Our total liability for any claim relating to FSaver is limited to USD 50.
Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used FSaver or the content you downloaded, including a breach of these terms or of someone else's rights, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result, to the extent allowed by law.
Suspension
We may block or limit access to FSaver for anyone who breaks these terms, abuses the service or puts it at risk, without notice. You can stop using FSaver at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use FSaver after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where FSaver's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections given to you by the laws of the country where you live. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
